James DeRosso - Monster Monster
James has spent more than 20 years creating ceramic monsters. He uses hand-building and slab construction techniques in stoneware clay. Many of his creatures incorporate found vintage objects or mossy scraps from nature. He enjoys exploring different ways of interpreting the monster theme. His studio is in the heart of SE Portland where he also teaches monster making classes and throws private monster parties.
